Our Manufacturers and Brands
We work with highly recognized brands providing mid and high-end solutions to our customers. Our current portfolio includes 70 manufacturers that provide a wide offer of solutions for each of our product lines.
Our gross revenue reaches 15 million dollars per year.
Approximately half of our revenue is generated by the run rate of short cycled sales generated by products available in stock for immediate local delivery. Careful analysis is held to select specific products, that are suited to the needs of our market, for which stock levels are set to assure service levels that outperform any competitive offer. Stock rotation is permanently monitored by SAC and the manufacturer to assure sales goals are met, mutual work is periodically coordinated in sales and marketing to promote desired rotations.
Our stock averages a value of 2.5 million USD, including around 1.200 SKUs.
The second half of our revenue is related to sales of medium and large projects, involving long sales cycles, that may take several months to achieve closure. Efforts are made to identify projects in the earliest stages possible to promote specification of differentiated solutions with our brands, with the goal of assuring a competitive advantage for our customers and suppliers.
A forecast of project opportunities is maintained in our CRM platform. Permanent follow up is made between SAC and the manufacturers to assure mutual work is coordinated and focused on increasing sales rates.
Our base of customers is composed exclusively of system integrators and installers. An array of different company sizes and approaches provides efficient coverage of any type of oppotunity trhoughout Colombia, reaching any industry of interest for our product portfolio.
We maintain an active customer base of around 950 companies that are engaged in recurrent orders and have approximately 2.000 accounts assigned to our sales teams.
We manage records of approximately 10.000 contacts of people of interest at customers and en users related to our industry.
SAC´s team is composed of 65 people, higly trained and motivated, organized in five areas, all of them oriented towards customer needs.
Sales and Marketing
Our sales is formed by engineers and technicians with profound knowledge of our market. Permanent visits and follow up to customers is maintained to identify and discuss opportunities.
Eleven sales teams consisting of account managers and inside sales are distruibuted throughout Colombia. We are based and have a very strong presence in Bogotá, which concentrates the most economic activity in our country, and have local sales personnel in all our main cities; Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga and Pereira.
Two people coordinate marketing efforts with our manufacturers promoting events, training sessions, certifications, communicating contents through our web page, social media, newsletters, and advertisement in specialized media.
Product and Business Development
A team of five product engineers are in depth trained in each brand to provide technical support to our salespeople, and our customers,
- Generation of demand from end users.
- Teaming with design consultants and project specifiers.
- Coordinating inside and outside trainnig.
- Providing technical pre sales support to customers.
- Coordinating workplans and following up with our manufacturers
The size of our logistic operation allows quick, reliable and cost effective import processes. We maintain consolidation of several shippments of cargo every week from the US to Colombia.
Given our compliance to the most stringent practices , SAC is the first company in our field to hold the status of OEA, (Authorized Economic Operator) which represents the highest level of trust to our local customs and taxes authorities. This conditions bring benefits that allow us to operate more efficiently assuring better service to our customers.
From our warehouse located close to Bogotas airport we provide customers with same day deliveries in the area, and next day deliveries for our main cities.
Provides standard assured credit lines to customers, and provides support in setting up special arrangements to structure project-specific credit lines.
